Our next event is going to be small but FUN. We are rewriting traditional Christmas carols to give them a LGBT twist. This is not an 'official join the impact' national event. It's something a group of us decided that we want to do after the LUTN candle vigil.
I will post lyrics to the songs I have been working on. Look them over. If you have any suggestions, lyrics, ideas, edits... whatever... let me know!

I love these songs! What if, similar to last night, but different...okay you know, you had the rainbow scarf and everyone could see it like a mile away? What if while we're singing carols we all wore something with a rainbow-t-shirts, shoes, anything! Just an idea!

I got to thinking another idea might be Christmas/Holiday cards similar to the flyers you guys had last night, but with Christmas/Holiday greetings and the key-points? I don't know if that's too short of notice for this event or the Holidays in general, though.

ReplyDeleteWe would have a Christmas / Holiday theme to our literature. Hmm. I can print things up on my computer for us to hand out, no problem.
Just got to think of how to do it and what to put. Hmm
